Reporting a wrong conversion

Wrong letters are the reports we most want. The table behind every tool is tested, but Bamini documents come from many typists and font versions, and real text still finds gaps. A good report fixes the problem for everyone.

Send the smallest piece that shows the problem, usually one word:

Tell us what the tool gave you instead, and which tool and browser you used. The “Report a wrong conversion” link above opens an email with these questions ready to fill in.

Please do not send whole documents, letters or anything confidential. The tools are built so that your text never reaches us; one word is enough for us to fix the table.

Before you write

• Text shows as English letters? It is Bamini that needs the Bamini font, or needs converting to Unicode. See the questions on the Bamini to Unicode and Unicode to Bamini pages.
• A Word file converted nothing? Tick “Convert all text” on the Word file converter; your document may use a renamed copy of the font.
• Where is a letter on the keyboard? The Bamini keyboard layout shows every key and vowel sign.
